- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront for services and the remaining 50% within two (2) weeks of the event. Consultations are free within 10 miles. Beyond that a $45 – $55 fee will be charged and put towards a signed contract. If client needs my services in another state, then rate is subject to plane fare equivalent. As it pertains to pricing, a flat fee will be charged for planning services and arrangements. A price breakdown will be provided to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client set an appointment for consultation via phone or email. On the day of the appointment, the new client and I will have a conversation. This is important so I can get a better understanding of what your needs are and how I can meet them. Coupled with this, the client will be briefed about the services we provided followed by a cost breakdown. If the client decides to go with us, he or she will be asked to fill out some paperwork. A contract will then be drafted and signed by the client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing this type of work because my dad has been in the business for over twenty years. My first job was helping my dad to plan a fundraising event for an entertainment company at the age of 16.
