- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are available at 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute lengths depending on your present skill level. We'll discuss a number of factors to help you choose the most appropriate lesson length.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gather information on previous education experience, go over the client's interests and goals, and provide examples on how I would help the student achieve those goals. I give a summary of my background and education as well as my teaching approach. I'm not afraid to tell the prospect if I don't believe I'm the right teacher because ultimately, the student's progress is what matters the most.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several decades of piano education and use a mixture of different schools of techniques. Some of the best opera performers in the world have been my voice teachers as well as principal trumpet players from major orchestras. I hold a B.A. in music history and literature.
