- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is perfectly ok to have a lesson with a music professional and then decide against using that professional. The relationship between professional and customer is important. If you do not feel comfortable with the professional it is ok to politely decline future services and look for a professional that you are comfortable with.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is not what I wish customers knew but rather what I wish customers understood about this profession. It is that practicing is a must. Voice teachers are guides. You can have the world's best and most expensive voice teacher but if the student does not practice not much can be accomplished. It takes a teacher's guidance and the students practicing time to make his or her voice grow. Also, growing the voice takes time. It does not happen overnight.
