I have over 25 years experience performing and teaching drums and percussion. I cater to the student's needs, ability, and goals. I have taken lessons with a few different drum teachers over the past few years and Wes is the only one I can honestly say is worth every penny. Wes is an experienced, patient, adaptive, and more than anything else friendly teacher that plans every lesson based on what he thinks you could improve on and what you're interested in. I've been taking hour lessons with Wes every other week for a few months now, and watching myself get better over time and get the hang of new techniques has been a really rewarding experience. 6/5 stars!

I reached out to Wes earlier this year looking for help pushing myself to explore new things with drums. I knew how to play to a degree, but felt stagnant. All of our lessons have been virtual and it has worked well! Wes has provided encouragement, accountability, and guidance through playing all kids of different music. Most recently I’ve been learning some Latin styles that I’ve never done before and it’s super fun! He also helps me see how lessons from any music apply more generally. No matter what level you’re at, if you want to learn from a great drummer and overall super nice guy, hit Wes up!

Wes has been a fantastic drum teacher for our son. Our son loves when it is drums day. Wes has an ability to teach kids the foundation of drums, how to read sheet music and pushes them to be better. Our son especially loves when he and Wes play together!
