- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing will always be reasonable for the job you want done, which you can check against other Thumbtack estimates and sites such as Homewyse. I will be transparent about my costs and you'll never be surprised, except pleasantly!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pictures will help me give an opening estimate, which will be finalized once I see the project in person. We will schedule a date and time to begin work, as well as an expected completion time. I value clear and timely communication so that there aren't any surprises for either of us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with a hammer in my hand and began building go karts, lawnmower engines, and furniture in my teens. Then I built fences and hung pre-hung doors for a family home improvement store. I continue my education regularly, keeping up to date with local and state building codes. I'm particularly proficient at installing vinyl plank or laminate flooring and painting interior rooms/ceilings/doors/trim. I also enjoy small plumbing and electrical jobs such as replacing toilets, shut-off valves, fixtures, and electrical outlets and light/ceiling fan fixtures.
