The movers came to my house on time . They are very professional and wrapped furnitures carefully . Everything is well put together no damages to either furnitures or glasses. They also helped me put dinning table together because I didn't have a drill . I'm very happy with their job . Don't let other negative comments here scared you away . At first time I was very hesitate to hire them but I spoke the owner on the phone he seems very nice so I decided to give a try . From my experience I think they did much better than two man and a truck .

The guys arrived on time and even let me know an ETA, which was so lovely. They were so efficient and took all the beds down, including a time consuming bunk bed, and put everything together in one piece. What took them a couple of hours would have taken us many days to complete. We are so thankful for them and their help and work effort. They even took a door off the hinges so our items could fit in our room with I damaged down to the doorway. They were professional and most importantly, my husband was so happy he didn’t have to move anything and was able to go right to bed with peace of mind in our new home. Definitely recommend them as this was a stress free process! 🙌🏽 Thank you, Elite Movers! 👏🏽

This was an amazing experience. This company went above and beyond & shocked our expectations as a moving company. Some companies want to charge you when they get in the truck until they get back home. - NOT elite movers !! They drove from Charleston SC to Waynesville NC & their excellent rate began at that point. They wrapped our valuables and disassembled our furniture; loaded everything with extreme care and drove it to Lumberton,NC & unpacked ; unwrapped ; assembled and arranged our valuables , appliances and furniture.
I would give this company 100 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as they were extremely reasonably priced and VERY professional and took pride in their work and were very pleasant to talk too. They just put our minds at ease. We were shocked by the price - it wasn’t enough for all they did & we were more than glad to give them a generous tip - which we had a hard time getting them to accept it.
If anyone needs a GREAT MOVING COMPANY- CONTACT ELITE MOVERS !!! We’re sure pleased that we found them on THUMBTACK!!

We used Elite a couple weekends back to move into our new home. Not only were they on time (unlike other movers we've used in the past), I had ordered 3 guys, but they brought us 4 at no additional charge!
The guys worked hard and fast. They wrapped and padded all of our large or important furniture.
There were a few walls that were dinged and a couple furniture legs were nicked. But nothing that was beyond a quick fix or even worth addressing with the owner, Jamol. I can't expect perfection in a large home move, it's just unrealistic.
The issue that blew our minds was that somewhere in the shuffle, the guys misplaced or lost the remote to our Sleep Number bed, which renders the bed useless. That remote is over $100 to replace. The owner Jamol felt terrible and paid us for the replacement and shipping cost. We were very grateful!
Will definitely recommend Elite in the future to anyone we know moving. Thank you again for everything!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that we have affordable and competitive rates that we do area comparisons on regularly. We want to ensure that we are giving the best value across the board. Doing this by giving the great service for even greater rates. We do offer military and senior citizen discounts but they can't be combined unfortunately.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing we want to establish is we want to remove the stress of moving from the equation. Then we would discuss the details of the move to get the best fit. To be able to assure that we give the best rate and most efficient crew.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had team lead position in all my prior jobs in the past. I also worked with moving companies part time for years prior to starting Elite Movers. I was fortunate to meet and be mentored by another moving company owner, that help me start and build my business!
