FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are buying a home I typically have you meet me at the office or lunch somewhere to get to know you and explain what an agent actually does and how the process of buying a home generally goes. If we have talked prior I will have houses ready to see or we will look some properties during our meeting and schedule a showing time which often can be the same day. If you are selling your home I like to come out to the property and get a feel for the neighborhood and condition of the home. Don't worry if your home isn't in immaculate condition. There's plenty of time before we get it on the market. I will then sit down and discuss what the benefits of having an agent sell your home, and of course what everyone wants to know, what your home is worth.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started relatively early on accident. I bought, updated and sold my home up in Michigan over a 3 year period and made a good amount of money off the transaction. I had two different realtors during that process. One was great the other not so much and I realized there is a need for a GOOD realtor. When I moved down to Charleston I got a taste for the excitement of the real estate market and jumped right in.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of customers. First time home buyers and sellers, folks who have bought and sold numerous properties and people who are moving to Charleston from out of town. I also have a great referral network for those who are moving to another city, state or country.
