I wish all pet owners understood how traumatic it can be for their pets to be boarded, especially cats and rescued dogs. Cats are much happier in their known environment and dogs don't understand that you're coming back if you take them somewhere strange and drop them off. Your pets are much happier in their home...your home. Even if you are away, the know you will be back.
