Omg Ernest was AWESOME!!!!!! He literally helped with everything from mounting 3 tvs, assembling 3 bed frames, putting together a sectional, 3 desks, 2 cube organizers and mounting my curtain rod. Him and his coworker were so professional, trustworthy, and thorough. I sprung so many projects on him (sorry Ernest!) that he had to return the next day and he did just that. I cannot begin to explain how much my mom and I appreciate you and enjoyed having your company and help. If we ever need a such a service in the future we will definitely look you up ❤️

Ernest was great! He came out to my property quickly to give me an estimate, fair prices. He did a great job repairing some of my ceiling in my garage that had lost a drywall panel. I will definitely use him again!

I needed several book cases assembled at my parent's senior living apartment and items hauled away. I live in NYC and my parent is in Columbia. I knew from the first response that I'd found the right person for the job. Ernest was very professional, organized with his time, and gave a bid that included my entire list of to do's. He showed up when he said he would and was very professional in his work. We love the work that he did! I highly recommend Ernest Bates and am so happy to have met him. I will certainly call on him in the future.
Ernest did an AMAZING job. He fixed another contractors shoddy work and make our new attic door secure and installed beautifully. I will definitely call Ernest if I need anything else. Solid guy.
Earnest put together our two master bedroom closets we purchased from IKEA. It came in what seemed like a million boxes but he didn’t let that deter him. He’s punctual, polite and and gets the job done. He number is saved in my phone for future jobs.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All quotes that I provide are flexible depending on the job. If the description is good and I can come in and get the job done without any setbacks I'm more than happy to offer a discount. If I get to the job and there's more work to do than whats described then there might be extra costs but I will address any problems with the client before any work is started.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know what the client preferences are and make sure to complete the task to their full satisfaction. I always go through the task at hand with the client to ensure both parties understand what's going to be done and done right the first time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years of on the job training and one on one professional teaching. Also I'll never attempt a job that's over my head and expertise.
