Man not only was Christina and Ken great ..... they went up and beyond the “ call of duty” Ken walked all of us through each step as he installed the storm door.... once the job was completed, he also corrected some of the mistakes that I had made when I tried to install it myself. I will definitely be calling on Fab4 for my next home repair project ..... Thanks guys !!!!!

Paula walked my dogs while I nursed a broken leg. With a 110 lb GDD I don't trust him with just anybody. She did a great job of keeping him calm and under control. She also left me detailed notes on her visit. She's very reliable and her gentle nature is perfect for your furry best friends. Highly recommend

Jeannae was so amazing with my pets. We have a dog and kitten (who was actually be treated for a cold that she got while at the rescue center we got her from at the time). She took such sweet care of our babies while we were out of town and even provided updates on how the kitten was doing. We're definitely going to use her again!

Everything about Melanie and Snaggle Foot is outstanding! Before we left, Melanie and a member of her team came by to meet us and our kitties. I was so happy to know they would be in good hands while we were gone. Receiving pictures every day while on vacation completely squashed any worries I had leaving my pets at home. They got play time every day and when we got home, littler was clean and they were well fed, they even got treats while we were gone! Melanie and her team treated my pets exactly how I treat them and I know they had fun even with "mom and dad" away. I would recommend Melanie and Snaggle Foot to any and everyone with pets going out of town, or needed a dog walked in the middle of the day!

Kasen, took care of our dog while we were out of the country for several weeks. He did an excellent job caring for her; ensuring that she was fed, watered, loved and walked multiple times daily. He was extremely reliable in getting the job done. He was also trustworthy, in ensuring that our home was secure, locked up after each of his visits. We would most definitely employ him again in the future!

Have to say I am very happy with the care that K-9 Trail Blazers Dog Walking Service has given to both of my doggies. Memphis and Sierra are happy and tired after they go out for their walk. Salix takes them to the local dog park and they love it. I could not be happier and I know my kiddo are happy too. Thanks Salix at K-9 Trail Blazers.

I travel often for my job and have to leave my pets with others. It was fantastic to have Charlie out to the home this last month during my travels. I came home to find my four legged kids well cared for and a home that was as well. There were no accidents that I could find (or smell) and there was a new toy that was added to the mix. The furry kiddos love that toy! Charlie was attentive to my pets, home and my directions. Charlie earned my trust and I will be hiring him to care for my dogs for my next trip.

We always leave a report card after each visit so clients know when we were there and how your pet was for us. I love my job because I love animals! I enjoy getting to know my clients and their pets as if they were my own.

Do you have a new puppy with lots of energy? Do you have a new baby? Are you moving and need to make sure the dog is not disturbed by movers? Do you work long hours? We provide social dog daycare in a fun, loving and clean atmosphere. Dogs are grouped by size and temperament during play. After a morning filled with their canine friends, they are brought to their room for a snack and nap. After nap time, the dogs are brought back together to play the afternoon away. Boarding dogs also get to play, which is included in their stay for that day. They are tucked into the private suite or executive suite for the evening, after a full day of playing with their friends. Do you have an elderly or non-social pet? We have you covered. Our pet sitting staff can come to your house to care for pocket pets, birds, cats, etc. We have years of experience and are fully licensed and insured.

we treat your pet as if they are our own and offer services from daily walkings to boarding we absolutely love animals and letting yout mind be at ease knowing they are in great care

        Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What does a dog walker do?

We all know our dogs love going on long, adventure-filled walks, but jobs and family and commuting can make it difficult to give them the leash time they deserve. You can hire a professional dog walker to make sure your furry friend gets adequate exercise and outdoor time each day. A professional dog walker may be an individual contractor or work for a dedicated dog-walking company. In either case, you want to make sure the pro has the appropriate insurance in case of an emergency. Some people opt to give the dog walker a key to their house; others to have them pick up the dog from the yard. Dog walking can happen as often as multiple times per day, or just a few times a month as needed. Here are some questions to ask when you are interviewing a new dog walker:

        • Will you or someone else be walking my dog?
        • Do you have a backup plan if you can’t make it for a scheduled walk?
        • Will you walk my dog by itself, or do you walk several dogs at once?
        • What are your different walk routes?
        • When will you pick up and drop off?
        • How will we communicate?
        • Do I have to commit to a schedule or are you flexible?
        • What’s your cancellation policy?
        • What’s your response plan if my dog gets injured or becomes sick?
        • How and how often do I pay you?
        • Do you offer package pricing if I buy multiple dog walks up front?

How much do dog walkers charge?

The cost of dog walking depends on several factors including length and frequency of dog walks, the number of dogs on the walk, distance to your house, and any additional services you request. The national average cost range for a dog walk is $10-$20, but that price will vary based on where you live in the country and the regional cost of living and doing business.

The longer the dog walk, the higher your costs will be. Dog walkers offer a range of walk lengths, from 15-minute potty breaks to long hikes of 120 minutes or more. For example, a dog walker may charge $15 for a 15-minute walk and $35 for a 35-minute walk. Requesting that your dog be the only animal on the walk will typically mean a higher cost than if you permit your dog to be walked in a pack of dogs. You may be able to get a discounted rate if you have more than one dog to be walked. For example, a professional dog walker may charge $28 for one dog or $33 for two dogs on a 60-minute walk. If you need additional help — like feeding the dogs or giving them medication — dog walkers may be able to provide this service at an additional fee. Dog walkers may charge higher rates for walking your dogs on holidays.
