Helen is truly one of the best. She could charge wayyyyyyy more than she does. I feel like we got a steal!! Also, we hired her last minute and she was totally on board. She looked the part, very professional AND really cute! Well spoken, calm, I could not have asked for more. We feel lucky that she officiated our marriage. Also, right after our ceremony we went to go take pictures for about 45 minutes, without realizing we forgot to sign the marriage license! Helen stuck around and waited for us and made us feel like it wasn’t a big deal at all. I only wish I had asked her to stay and offered her a meal at our wedding. THANK YOU HELEN!!!!

Helen was absolutely wonderful! She showed up right on time and was extremely professional. It's hard to believe that the first time we met was at our ceremony, because it felt like she really knew us. She made our wedding day more special than I could have imagined and I will appreciate her sweet and kind words at our ceremony for the rest of my life!

Our officiant was very helpful with making the whole process smooth and relaxing.. she wrote a beautiful piece that tied into the place my husband and i wanted to get married, at folly beach. Her words literally brought me into tears and is very memorable. She told us our next steps and just talked to us as friends rather than customers.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my fees as reasonable as possible. Fee increases are normally due to drive times or extended time needed for a ceremony.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After being booked, I ask the bride and groom some basic questions - what type of ceremony, what special things (unity candles / sand, memorial to someone special, etc) they would like to include in the ceremony. No two ceremonies are exactly the same.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive background in public speaking and journalism, finding the right words is not a challenge for me.
