Our officiant was very helpful with making the whole process smooth and relaxing.. she wrote a beautiful piece that tied into the place my husband and i wanted to get married, at folly beach. Her words literally brought me into tears and is very memorable. She told us our next steps and just talked to us as friends rather than customers.

Helen was very responsive and saved the day when my daughter's original officiant had a death in the family shortly before the ceremony, leaving her unavailable to attend. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my fees as reasonable as possible. Fee increases are normally due to drive times or extended time needed for a ceremony.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After being booked, I ask the bride and groom some basic questions - what type of ceremony, what special things (unity candles / sand, memorial to someone special, etc) they would like to include in the ceremony. No two ceremonies are exactly the same.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive background in public speaking and journalism, finding the right words is not a challenge for me.
