FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Just as there are no "standard" houses, there are no "standard" pricing for staging and selling a property. Each one is unique. I quote staging for each property based on what is needed to help sell the property, no more, no less. If you list your property with me to sell, staging is included in the commission and paid at closing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether it is a staging client or real estate client, the first step is to listen carefully to the client to find out what their goals REALLY are. I ask questions so I know we both understand each other and feel we can work together to accomplish their goals. Then we outline a scope of work with timetable to get the work done. I can bring my resources of professionals and discounts to the project to make my client's budget go further and get satisfactory results. Communication is extremely important, which is why I stay in constant contact with my clients to update them on progress and changes throughout the process of rehabbing, staging and selling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Merchandising and worked in retail merchandising for years before bringing that skill set to real estate. I also worked as a communication specialist for Michelin so I know how to effectively communicate with others and know the importance of it. I am in the top 4% of agents in the Greenville market for number of transactions, which shows I have the experience that can be so important in effectively representing a home seller. I also have a BS in management from Clemson with a minor in Marketing. 2003
