- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At That 1 Painter, we calculate the cost of your painting project based on a transparent and detailed assessment of materials and labor. The actual cost of a project depends on many factors, including the condition of the area to be painted, type of paint to be used, accessibility of the areas to be painted, and so on. Estimates, however, are always free! At That 1 Painter, we provide free, no-obligation estimates to all our potential clients. Whether you’re considering interior or exterior painting, deck staining, or any other service we offer, you can get a detailed estimate that remains valid for up to one year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before coming out to a job site, one of our representatives will have a conversation about your goals for the project. After confirming the estimate, our estimators will spend time with you at your home to determine how to achieve your vision for your project, on your timeline, and within your budget. We offer a consultative, not pushy, approach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
25 years in the painting industry, specialty contractor's license in South Carolina for painting/wall coverings, as well as a specialty contractor's license for drywall. I attend continuing professional education on a regular basis on a range of topics ranging from color theory to architecture to types of paint to customer satisfaction and more.
