Here’s how it works. We spend a little time exploring what you are looking for and how my program works. Getting to know each other and making sure we are a good fit. First, we'll have a short conversation over the phone. Next, you pick a mutually convenient time to schedule your Free Consultation (it’s a conversation over a cup of coffee, NOT a workout). I don’t assume anything about your situation, but if you’re open to it, we discuss your most pressing challenges and show you how my solutions would address those problems. Then you have clarity about your options and the information you need to decide on your next step. You get in control of your health, wellness and fitness, once and for all. Recommendation for personal trainer: Ron Gordon. Over the last 2 months, Ron has been a great personal trainer for the following reasons: 1). First, Ron is a great listener, and he listens carefully to both what you say *and* what your body says. He is uncommonly good in this regard. 2). Ron is very thoughtful with his approach, based on what he hears as your goals and based on how he assesses your current strengths. He is not a "one size fits all" kind of guy, but he does have a general approach to training that has worked for him over the years, which includes a heavy emphasis on form and technique to avoid injury and optimize longer-term performance. His respect for and focus on technique was particularly important to me. 3). Ron brings a lot to the table, given his extensive experience with triathlons, marathons and distance hiking. His reference base here is impressive which helps to differentiate him amongst other trainers. 4). Ron is always on time, to the dot, and he is very well organized and process driven. That said, he is paradoxically flexible if schedules, goals or times change. Overall, if you have exercise and/or physical goals you'd like to accomplish, Ron is a great guy to help you get there and you should at least give him a try. Alex

I've been working out and playing sports for about 12 years and have always loved physical activity. For 8 out of those 12 years I have been in and out of Chiropractors, massage therapists and physical therapists for a number of injuries and structural issues I was experiencing in my body. When I met Ron, I was pretty much at my wits end with paying for treatments that just weren't working. After 4 months (2 of those with one on one training) I've seen structural issues diminish slowly, grown 2 inches from the improvement of my posture, seen a massive difference in my strength, toned up quite a bit and feel better than ever! Having someone who REALLY knows what they are doing, like Ron, makes a huge difference.

I have been training with Ron for over eight years. When I started with Ron was 41 and I didn't do anything athletic at all. I needed to change and Ron was just the guy to help me. Now I do CrossFit on a regular basis, have competed in two half Iron Man triathlons, two half marathons and a number of other races. Ron was my coach for all of it. He did an outstanding job training me all along to ensure that I continued to improve and was ready for every event all with a minimal risk of injury. I cannot say enough good things about Ron and wholeheartedly recommend him.

Ron has been great to work with. He’s a great teacher and communicator. I like that he focuses on proper form and technique. The personal one on one training was very important to me so I knew I was using proper form and didn’t hurt myself. In a relatively short period of time I can see a difference in my strength and endurance. I also like the variety of the workouts and the fact I only bought a few weights and a jump rope to build a great workout.

Ron was my personal trainer for several years in Rochester, NY. As a private client, Ron always made me feel confident in myself. Ron is a first class person and a true professional trainer. Our training sessions were always structured to my level, and I always got so much out of them.. Great Fitness, Great Friendship, Great Life Coach!
