- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked construction between semesters while in college. I went to school for mechanical engineering because I appreciate complex and simple tools/machines. I love to understand how things work, how they can be more efficiently, from manufacturing it, to implementing in a real life application.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up without tv gave me an amazing opportunity to spend time with my grandfather who was a master craftsman. I would spend weekends with him building barns and Quonset huts. He was a project manager for a international construction company but loved to build and I caught the bug from him.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I walked into a 5 bedroom house that was to be an Airbnb. I had a 4 stall garage full of deliveries, assembled all the furniture (beds, dressers, tables, and chairs, mounted 7 TVs, hung the art and fixed the broken cabinet doors in 4 days. Rental ready on day 5.
