FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do are commercial and residential resurfacing. I provide resurfacing services for some of the apartment communities here in The Upstate. I resurface the existing countertops to give them the true look of granite or marble at a fraction of the cost of replacing them. I also repair and resurface cabinets, countertops, tubs, garage floors, and pool decks for local homeowners. But lately, I have gotten several calls to refinish wood decks with our new Deck Saver Coating, which provides a non-slip and moisture barrier shell to the existing deck.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is as simple as 1, 2, 3... 1)When you do something you are proud of you stand behind it and I stand behind my work for a full year. Period. Zero fine print. I am so confident in my abilities and my products, that I will gladly take care of the problem free of charge. My advice would be not to hire a refinisher that doesn't offer this type of peace of mind. 2) Sure, you can buy that countertop or tub from the big box store but what's the real replacement cost? Who is tearing out the old one and installing the new one? If you pass on hiring someone and go the DIY route, that means a commitment of time and that ever-looming can of worms. The refinishing services that Surface Saver Of The Upstate offers is just a better option as far as cost, convenience, and overall impact on your environment. Don't replace it, resurface it! 3) National franchises have the financial backing to buy radio ads as well as offer cut-rate pricing on their services but your service technician might not be personally invested in giving you the best experience possible. Typically, franchises have different goals than local businesses. My goal is to make your experience the best it can possibly be because my personal and professional reputation is on the line with every job. Support our local economy by supporting local businesses.
