Very helpful, made reasonable suggestions to fix our mold problem
I was very satisfied with Emory and Moldstoppers. Emory appeared to have a great eye for detail when he 1st inspected my crawlspace and submitted his quote. His pricing was very competitive and he seemed to be the right choice among the 3 suppliers I interviewed. His team did everything he promised to remove the mold from my crawlspace, seal all floor gaps, install the vapor barrier, and with no disruption to our daily routine. I was even more impressed when on the final day his team refused take payment until Emory could return to make a final inspection. When he did, he found a minor issue and promised his team would return within 2 days to fully complete the project. He did everything he said he would do and more. I am hopeful I never have an issue like mold again, but if I do, I know who to call to get the job done right.
I hired David to do a Home Inspection on a home that was built in the late 1970's or early 1980's. David quoted me a very reasonable price to do the home inspection compared to the home inspectors that many of the realtors are accustomed to using in the Greenville area. I was able to meet David at the house and observed that he was very meticulous and detailed in his inspection. When I received the inspection report, I was blown away by the pages of details related to concerns that he found! I shared this report with my realtor and she was also blown away with how thorough he was with his inspection. She indicated to me that she would definitely like to recommend David to some of her other clients. I've had different home inspectors look over homes that I've bought in the past and miss some fairly substantial problems. Until now, I've never seen this kind of detail and thoroughness in an inspection report.

First and foremost I try to treat my clients the way I would want to be treated if I were paying someone to do the job my client is paying me to do. I will complete the project as specified or stay as long as need be to get the clients satisfaction of a job well done. My craftsmanship and attention to detail standards is higher than a lot of builders I have seen in the last 10 years. Do you really want to hire an outfit that employs only recently entered immigrants at $5/hour to do a job you expect to last at the least 5 years. Well, most GC's do that now and charge you the same no matter what so they can make more money. If a GC pulls up to your project driving a 2016 $60,000 fully loaded Ford Diesel Truck, and his crew pulls in behind him all crammed into an old 1984 Chevy beater work truck, that should be a clue. These immigrants are even told not to put the required amount of fasteners (nails, screws, staples, etc.) that code requires just to pinch even more pennies from you. The GC will still charge you the same amount as if they had followed building codes and not pass the savings on to you.
