- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a couple reaches out, we begin with a quick initial meeting to go over details and make sure we’re a great fit. After that, a contract is signed and a $125 non-refundable deposit is paid to officially secure the date. The couple then obtains their marriage license through the Charleston County Probate Court online (there’s a $70 fee). Once the license is confirmed, we send out a detailed planning guide along with a selection of ceremony script options. The couple chooses the script that best fits their style and emails it back. On the wedding day, your officiant arrives at the location, performs the ceremony, and then personally walks your signed marriage license into the court to ensure everything is legally finalized. It’s a seamless, stress-free process designed to make your day simple and beautiful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been officiating weddings for the past 3 years, bringing a warm, professional, and personalized touch to every ceremony. In 2024, we proudly launched our own business, Elope Charleston SC, to focus on creating meaningful, stress-free elopements in one of the most romantic cities in the country. My experience includes crafting and performing a wide variety of ceremonies — from traditional to modern and everything in between — always tailored to reflect each couple’s unique story and values.
