I began training with Ryan at Beast Ninja in December 2018. My situation was much different due to the fact I was coming off a severe list of injuries due to a motorcycle accident in May 2018. My hip, pelvis, nose, wrist and orbital were all broken as result of the accident. When I began training with Ryan I could walk, but that's about it. I was experiencing tons of pain and had really no muscle on the right side of my body due to my injuries. Ryan was patient with me and was consistently coming up with new workout routines and also many variations to certain exercises and movements that I had trouble with. He was always motivating me to push myself and get stronger. Ryan's attitude toward training me really made me feel like I was constantly improving and getting stronger. I would get discouraged because many exercises and movements I simply couldnt do. Ryan always believed in me and pushed me to work harder. I would reccomend him to anyone who wants to get fit and change their life. Before Gunny's Boot Camp I was 30 pounds overweight, I had terrible eating habits and I was always tired. I knew that I needed a trainer who could give me the push in the right direction to fitness and my personal health. Gunny was courteous and understanding to my needs. His program challenged me and at the end of each session I felt like I really got something out of it. He has been training me for 6 weeks and so far I've lost 20 pounds and 4 inches around my waistline. Gunny is all the qualities listed above.My husband and I have been working with him for 10 weeks and he has helped us tremendously with our individual physical needs. He comes to each sessions with new ideas to help strengthen us. We are both in our seventies and Gunny takes the approach that nothing is impossible for us to do.
