Angela was such a pleasure to work with. We had a beautiful family photo session on the beach, and overall, we are very pleased with the pictures. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and we truly appreciate the photographer capturing such special memories for our family.
Unfortunately, the weather changed unexpectedly. A thunderstorm moved in shortly before our scheduled photo shoot. Because of the approaching storm, we completely understand why the photographer needed to move quickly, because the weather was beyond anyone's control. However, the session felt rushed, and because of that, we didn't get the opportunity to do all the poses or adjustments we may have otherwise gotten.
We understand that the weather created a difficult situation, however, we felt that it might have been helpful if the photographer had suggested moving indoors afterward to take a few additional pictures or asked whether we were satisfied with what we were able to capture before the rain came.
That said, the pictures themselves are genuinely beautiful and worth the few extra days taken to receive! We are grateful to have these memories of our family beach trip. Despite the unexpected weather and rushed session, Angela captured some wonderful photos that we will cherish. We appreciate her work and would recommend her services!! She was very pleasant!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on session type and time; portraits, boudoir, events, and editorial/branding all have their own packages so you're not paying for stuff you don't need. A non-refundable deposit is due upon signing the contract to lock in your date, especially for shorter-notice bookings. I accept Venmo for easy, fast payment. If you're not sure which package fits, message me your vision and budget and I'll help you find the right fit. I'd rather work with you than lose you over a pricing mismatch.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It honestly starts with a conversation! I want to know your vision, your must-have shots, and any spots or people who matter to you. From there I send over a contract through 17hats that covers all the details, we lock in your date, and I do a little planning on my end (location scouting, timing around the look we wanted to achieve and deliver your gallery through Pixieset, where you can view, download, and order prints.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm self-taught and hands-on! I shoot with a Nikon Z6III and Nikkor 24-70mm f/4, and I've put serious time into learning manual mode, lighting, and post-processing in Lightroom to develop a consistent, editorial style. I also lean on real-world experience: doing paid shoots, testing my process, and refining based on what actually works for clients.
