Hola, I’m a professional Spanish native speaker from the beautiful country of Colombia with a business management and marketing background. My passion for helping others and the love for my native language “Spanish” inspired me in 2011 to tutor Spanish through the Greenville County School District. Then, after helping other companies to teach Spanish, I decided to combine my experience, my management, and my marketing skills to help business professionals or individuals achieve their Spanish goals.
In most careers, being bilingual is an opportunity to have professional growth or increase your network. The lessons are aimed at your needs and could be either face to face. I am patient and very energetic. Also, I work according to your schedule.
Overall, it has been my pleasure to help my students to learn or improve their Spanish. They have been able to speak, understand, and communicate with confidence in the language. So, by the end, it is very rewarding to see them achieve their goals.

I wanted to learn Spanish because I have many friends that speak Spanish and wanted to be able to speak their language also. Maritza is an awesome Spanish teacher. She teaches lessons and also makes time to have conversations in Spanish so that I get the experience I need with everything she is teaching me. She is very flexible with her schedule and always on time and very professional. She is very good at seeing what your specific needs are and how to teach it in a way that is very easy to learn. I would recommend her to people of all ages whether you need lessons for school, work or just to learn for fun!
