In his preparations for a Sunday morning, February 24, 2013 large-scale breakfast event for Elizabeth Colbert Busch and Stephen Colbert, Pete Twomey was thoroughly professional in: submitting menu proposals entirely appropriate for the event; attending several major planning meetings and offering advice on main room and green room set-ups, arrangements of food displays, managing audience flow; establishing rapport with and earning the confidence and respect of event planners and venue managers; maintaining effective and timely communications with all concerned parties; remaining flexible by accomodating the changing logistics of an event involving a major television personality and a candidate for the U.S. Congress. Pete rendered these impressive services within a 12- day window to prepare for the event. Pete's appearance in uniform and his performance at the event were exceedingly well received by the 250+ guests in attendance. Many guests complimented the food quality, taste and display. Pete personally met and greeted guests. Pete took the time to pause for photographs requested by numerous guests. Finally, the event was a huge success due in large measure to Pete Twomey's personal care and attention to details, his high standards for the culinary arts, and his prompt, courteous and professional approaches to meeting the public.
