Removed a big tree and lots of stumps. Great hardworking , polite , dependable guys. Would use them again.
The first quote was low. When I expressed surprise at the very reasonable cost, it was immediately increased by $1,000. The people were quick to start on the job, but the challenge of having trucks in the shop caused some delays. The job was completed in several days. Some photographs were taken so I could see what it looks like, and it seems like a good job. I was told there would be more pictures when they came to collect the leftover fiberglass and plastic wrappings, but cleanup seems to have been delayed. Overall impression: Excellent, but there were some internal challenges with trucks in the shop, and emergencies pulled them from the job, causing delays. Trash left on premises. Reasonable prices.
We were very pleased with the work Jeff did removing our popcorn ceilings and repairing the drywall.
I was extremely happy with the work of HTHC. They were flexible with my requests and were able to finish in time for me to move in. I recommend HTHC for any job. From painting to removing popcorn these guys were fantastic.
We couldn't be more pleased with the results. The entire house looks amazing, thank you for such beautiful job. They painted the interior and exterior of my house, removed the popcorn ceiling and stained the porches. This quality level is hard to find in Charleston.
The work done was fantastic I had my dining room ceiling repaired and then the popcorn ceiling removed and the ceilings painted they also painted my walls. It all looks great they came on time finished when they said they would cleaned up and answered any questions I had the price was very reasonable I will definitely hire them 4 future jobs and would highly recommend them
Brian & crew removed a load bearing wall between the living and family rooms and built and installed a kitchen counter in my N Chas (Norhtwood Estates) home. They are all friendly, personable, and hard workers. I was very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to hire them again.
Overall we were very happy with the job that was done, however we are still trying to remove the tape that was left on some of the light fixtures.
Jessica was great, prompt, and has reasonable prices, so I am definitely going to use her again! In fact, I have just contacted her about another paint project that I want done.
We contacted Mr McClellan after searching our area for a contractor to partially remove a wall, fame the wall opening and then install some crown molding. He came out and reviewed our needs and discussed some options. He said that he would contact us with a quote and he did so immediately. We agreed on a price and a start date. He held true to his word. What an awesome job he did! Better than we expected and so much more! While he was at our site, we added an additional requirement and he performed that task too. He kept us informed as he progressed and when he encountered a problem, he promptly called us and discussed options. Daily communications, daily clean up! Very Professional and Courteous! Will recommend and will call again. Thanks for a GREAT job!!
All About Paint did an outstanding job removing our popcorn ceilings, painting our entire home, and helping with other miscellaneous tasks to revamp our recently purchased home! David is very skilled in his trade, and pays strong attention to detail. He worked quickly and within a tight time frame. His work was clean and left our home spotless upon completion. His pricing was very fair as well. Our home is the definition of “perfection” because of his work. We would hire him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you David and All About Paint for a fantastic experience and well finished project!
I had Bill come out to remove and install a new garage opener. He arrived on time, and had all the tools necessary. He was very professional job, will definitely call him again. Thanks
We hired B. D. Home repairs when we were looking to upgrade a few things in her home. Brad, the owner, came out to see what we wanted done and gave us an estimate. He was prompt and gave us a few ideas that he had to improve the job. Needless to say everything turned out beautiful. He removed the old carpet from our stairs and hallway and replaced it with laminate flooring. He tiled our patio and grouted and sealed it as well. He installed kitchen light fixtures and built a small pen in our yard for our dog. His work was meticulous and the prices were all very reasonable. We've already scheduled him to come back next month to paint a few rooms for us. We are very pleased that we found his company and now have them in our contacts.
Coleman did an excellent job by helping me solve a problem I wasn’t sure how to fix! That problem was how to replace an old style cooktop without having to replace all of my granite and cabinets. We worked together to come up with an inventive plan and he executed it perfectly! He was prompt and professional and provided quality craftsmanship! First photo is the old cooktop (dipped into the granite and cabinetry. Second photo is the finished product that included removing the large granite backsplash, cutting a piece off to then graft into the the countertop, then replacing backsplash, installing new cooktop and hood-vent. Highly recommend!
Tom is great! I bought a house just over a year ago. He has basically redone my house. He has always been friendly, on-time, cost conscious with materials, and has competitive prices for a professional of his experience. I have always felt safe around him and am comfortable with him in my house even if I can't be there. I would recommend him to anyone! If you are interested in the work he has done for me, see below. Electrical: all fixtures, replaced all outlets and switches, installed additional outlets and cable jacks, rerouted switches, garage door opener. Walls/Ceilings: scraped popcorn and refinished ceilings, major wallpaper removal, repaired holes (big) in walls and ceiling, retaped and finished broken seams, fresh paint throughout (the best painting I have ever seen). Flooring: removed carpet, installed hardwoods, installed travertine tile, repaired subfloor water damage. Plumbing: replaced various water lines, replaced broken water heater, installed new toilets. Misc: removed all old appliances and installed new appliances including a built in microwave, repaired rotted wood on exterior trim, painted exterior door/trim, pressure washed driveway, trimmed tree limbs back from house, installed new towel bars/tp holders, removed plate mirrors and installed medicine cabinets, refinished some cabinets, changed all the cabinet hardware, replaced all door hinges and knobs. Just too many little miscellaneous things to mention!
MIKE AND CINDY DID SOME EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR PAINTING FOR ME LAST YEAR AND DID SUCH AN OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL AND REASONABLE PRICE, I HAD THEM RETURN AND REMOVE POPCORN CEILINGS AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK I WILL ONLY USE THEM FOR MY FUTURE NEEDS. I WAS SO IMPRESSED I HAVE RECOMMENED THEM TO MY FRIENDS. GOOD WORK .
Todd just completed staining and painting our front porch and garage trim. He also removed two front porch columns, repaired rot on four columns, extended the railing and pressure washed the house. He did all this in two full days, which I was very impressed. Thank you for the great job and we will be in touch for future jobs!
Juan and his crew were excellent. Juan contacted me immediately after posting on Thumbtack. He patched several drywall holes from a bathroom remodel and painted for us. He also removed popcorn ceilings and painted in the stairway. He and the crew were very polite, professional and punctual. I am planning to use his services again very soon!
Christina scraped popcorn off of and painted my kitchen's ceiling. He was very courteous, caring and an all around good guy. He did a great job and I'd hire him again for sure.
John scraped my popcorn ceiling and painted. Very courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. He is very trustworthy which is important when letting someone work on your house.
Jeff did a great job of completing many tasks around the house that were beyond the time and scope of what I was able to handle. He completed the work in a timely fashion and to my satisfaction. The jobs included - changing lightbulbs (cathedral ceiling), removing pictures from wall (very high), removing drapes, filling in nail holes, replacing air vent covers, cleaning/repairing shelving in 5 closets, and more.
