Wanda did a great job at my son’s wedding ! Very easy to work with!Jan 12, 2018Verified
Wanda had all of our guests up and dancing! This is especially important because it was a day wedding! She followed what our daughter wanted for the ceremony and reception to a T. I highly recommend Wanda!Dec 19, 2017VerifiedWanda C.'s reply

Thank you Bethany!!! The venue view was magnificent but it was YOU that stole the show! You were absolutely gorgeous!! I will always remember you for that beautiful hair!!! OMGOSH!!! Epic Win!!! We had a blast being with you and your family and friends! All of our best to you and Rob!! Blessings, Wanda and Nick
The music equipment kept messing up, she cost me my security deposit as she drove through the venue grass. She was sick with diarrhea and showed up to play instead of getting an alternative DJ. I like most of the music that she played and she did do the special dances as requested but those little things are big things professionally that needed to be fixed.Sep 22, 2017VerifiedWanda C.'s reply
Falon, I have been in touch with your wedding venue owner, Mrs. Linda Terrell, at Whip-Poor-Will-Hill Weddings in Waxhaw, NC. As you are aware, I did email the venue owners on September 22, 2017 in an attempt to gather information about a mutual client that we had both worked with and I copied you on that email. Mrs. Terrell responded back to me on September 25, 2017 and stated “I am curious as to why the DJ would be asking about a clients security deposit? WE have had no problems/complaints with any dj services... who was the mutual client”? I emailed her back and asked her to call me to discuss the event. Mrs. Terrell called me on the morning of September 26, 2017. She informed me that she had only had 2 instances of withholding a security deposit and both were due to burns on the carpet, caused by the hairdressers leaving hot curling irons on the floor and asked who the client was. I informed her that it was you. She said I am certain that we did not keep her deposit. But to be absolutely positive, while we were on the phone Mrs. Terrell took the time to look at her bank statements, her email correspondence with you and found that she HAD NOT kept your security deposit. Mrs. Terrell spoke with her husband Mike, and he confirmed that they had not kept your security deposit and they told me that they had torn up your check, in other words, they did not deposit your security deposit check into their bank. They also stated that they had not been in contact with you at all, and had not spoken with you in the week leading up to your updated review on September 13, 2017. The next thing that Mrs. Terrell did was reach out to Thumbtack to let them know that the claim that you made about the security deposit was false and she wanted it removed, however, Thumbtack has a very strict review policy, and this review, even though the review is false, will not be removed. This is a very unfortunate turn of events. I am sorry, I do not understand why you have libeled yourself with this false claim. Defamation of character is a serious offense causing untold damage to someone’s good name and the good standing of their business name and must not be taken lightly. My husband and I are looking into alternative ways to settle this matter, and we are both upset that this must be our only course of action. But mostly, I am just sad that the memory of such a wonderful wedding has now been tainted with this lie and unprovoked, unsolicited personal attack which came out of left field 11 months after the event. Respectfully, Wanda Case

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer our clients an already discounted and very affordable, quality service for UNLIMITED HOURS and one set fee that includes travel and set up. We are regional and provide service for all of NC, SC, TN, GA and VA. Some couples require an additional sound system for their venue or for the ceremony. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our process is very simple. We gather the customers event information, prepare a service contract for them and send it to them via email. The deposit and signed contract secures the date. The contract will include a questionnaire for all clients to fill out and return. We are always available to speak with our clients and answer any questions that may arise along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Nick and I have been entertainers and DJ's for over 25 years. We have been in bands, hosted Karaoke shows all over our area as well as won many singing competitions advancing to the national level of competition. We are well versed in reading a crowd, knowing what type of music will keep a party hopping as well as what type of music needs to be played for cocktail and dinner hours. We keep our volume at a comfortable level. We love people and have as much fun as our clients do!
