Introduction: My focus is quality and efficiency. As a family man, I know how busy life can be as well as how stressful it can be to have something broken, a project unfinished, or something that needs to be accomplished...and no time to do it. In addition, I understand the need for customer comfort and safety. I pride myself on being on time, making the customer feel safe and providing quality results.

UPDATE: Initiallly I was unaware that the sourcing and product construction that was completed by the gentleman, away from my home would be billed to me. I honestly thought that the mentioned efforts were out of generosity since we had conversed about my going to the hardware store to acquire items that were needed previously while he worked on-site. I had planned to add gratuity accordingly for my assumption of his generosity. (See below Previous Review for better context). Through continued conversation the gentleman and I have come to an understanding. And I have increased my rating accordingly. The individual was very kind and a really nice conversationalist. He did really good carpentry work as well. I would l hire him again if he is interested in the opportunity. ...….......................... Previous review: The craftsman was very kind, polite and a great conversationalist. He did really good work as well. The rate for the service was $55 an hour. The gentleman was on site from 10:50 AM to 3 PM (2nd day). Earlier in the day the gentleman presented a receipt to me for materials that he had purchased for a portion of the job. No problem. It was approximately $96 and this was to be added together with the rate of pay per hour at the end of the job. Once the work concluded, the gentleman approached me to settle up the tab and he said that it would be $350. As I was setting up the Zelle source to send the payment he said that his wife says (she wasn't present he was speaking with her on the phone while we were conducting business) that the actual total due was $400. At the time I honestly didn't think anything of this as I was ready to wrap things up so that I could get back to my husband who was in ICU. I honestly did not realize that I was about to get overcharged for approximately $75. I set the $400 payment up and I sent it. At 9:30 p.m. the same night when I realized that I was overcharged I was understandably irritated. I waited 23 hours after this for a response. During this time frame I did not hear back from him. I then accepted the offer from thumbtack to review the service. Lastly, there were tear out debris left on-site. The trash was neatly gathered. However, for the total fees paid for 2 days, I would have preferred not to have had to dispose of the materials myself.
