I have always had a passion for expressing myself in my food and bringing people together with a delicious meal. Growing up with a an Italian mother and African American father, I was introduced very early on to a blend of culinary heritage.
I started Citrus Catering Co. to have endless limits to share my love of food with clients. From the age of fifteen, I have worked in various restaurants, learning the ins & outs of both front of house & back of house operations in the culinary industry. I refined my experience with a degree from the Art Institute of Charleston in Culinary Arts. I have participated in multiple culinary events in the community including Guerilla Cuisine, The Taste of Black Charleston {winning best savory dish three years running}, local high school cooking classes, and more.
Through my job as an Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager for the Wescott Golf Club and Catering Manager for Aramark at Charleston Southern University, I developed a love for creating exceptional events that make clients special moments even more memorable.
With this love, I decided that I wanted to create a catering company that, not only specializes in incredible food taste and presentation, but also coordinates the many details that come together to make a one of kind event.
