I presented Jon Haid with an accessibility problem involving short steep brick stairs. I called him long distance and asked if he could figure out how to make the steps leading up to my sister's Mount Pleasant home safe for my mother to come visit. He was extremely prompt in his initial response and continued to reply and relay information as necessary for problem solving. He is easy to communicate with and doesn't mind answering questions and addressing concerns. One requirement was that the finished project could be easily removed but sturdy enough for safety. He didn't waste time starting the project, kept me apprised of his progress, and had it built and installed within a week. The finished accessible extended platform steps are beautiful and beyond my expectations and Jon took great care in considering the purpose of my request.

This was my first time to build platform steps. All I had to go on was a picture I took of your Sister's steps and our conversation about what you needed for your Mother. I used my imagination to design them, and built them in my back yard in the rain, then disassembled them, transported them to your Sister's house and reassembled them. Jon did an exceptional job with several miscellaneous repairs that I needed done around the house. He was knowledgeable, skillful and was able to figure out how to complete some of the unfinished tasks around my house. I am including a few before, and after pictures from some of the work that he did. One is a cat door that was destroyed by my dog. The other is figuring out how to put an end on a kitchen cabinet. I highly recommend Jon for any household repair and will definitely use him again in the future.

I had Jon come to install a ceiling fan on a higher than normal ceiling. There had been a pendant light there. He arrived at the time we agreed on and he was down to business quickly. He did an excellent job at a very fair price. I will call on him again!
