We are a veteran and family-owned and-operated local business. We take the time to walk our clients through the inspection process and encourage our clients to attend the home inspection. We will have an easy to read report prepared and ready for our clients the same day of the inspection. We want to give our clients a quality and professional home inspection at a great price. I have worked in the construction industry as well for over 10 years. I enjoy helping buyers, whether its first time buyers or seasoned buyers in the process of selecting the perfect home for their family. I am available to answer questions before, during and after the inspection process.

The inspection was thorough. He went over everything he found wrong and explained it to us in detail. Now when we list our home we will have a piece of mind. We would definitely use Common View Home Inspections again!

Working with Doug Moorer was a wonderful experience. Doug responded quickly to my request and followed up with several questions on a Holiday! I was blown away by this level of service. Because the negotiations on the house we were buying had several hiccups, we ended up needing to reschedule two dates for the inspection. Doug handled this with courtesy and professionalism. He even rescheduled for a day where Charleston had 6 inches of snow! When we finally connected for the inspection Doug was ahead of schedule and hard at work. He answered all of my questions and provided an in-depth report on the house very quickly. He was available for follow up question on a Sunday. The level of customer service and a super friendly demeanor really makes me happy to have met him and certainly, I would not use anyone else in the future.

Doug was a fantastic person to work with. We had our inspection in the morning and got everything done in a couple hours. He was very helpful with any questions that we had and used our mind on a few small issues that we had concerns about. He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Prices vary from square footage and the age of the home
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Interacting with new customers is initially done via phone or email. I am more than willing to meet with customers at the home prior to giving a quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed, insured and bonded in the South Carolina to perform home inspections. I also complete Continuing Education Units (CEU) each year to stay current on any changes in my industry. I am a member of ASHI and InterNACH
