- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a $10 discount on your first lesson as in introduction to make sure I’m a match for what you’re looking for. For adults and adolescents I recommend an hour lesson ($55) and for younger children a half hour lesson ($30) for shorter attention spans and growing brains.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat on the phone a little bit and allow a potential new student to get a sense of me and to help me understand what a particular student is looking for in their pursuits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up in NJ I was lucky enough to have the proximity to study with the great Joe Morello who, in addition to being a legendary drummer, was also one of a select few 20th century masters of technique, motion and rebound as it applies to the drum set. Joe’s book, Master Studies, is considered one of the most important texts on the development of the hands. I consider it a privilege to pass on that which was shown to me to help keep Joe’s method alive and serving the next generation of drummers.
