Tony sat me down to talk about my goals straightaway. Then he asked questions to see what type of player I was (beginner). Going out to the range, he made things so simple and clear. His way of instructing is extremly natural and confidence inspiring. This just after 1 lesson.

Tony is very professional as well as friendly, he listened to my problems and after looking at my swing was able to identify my problems and went through a step by step process to "fix" the issues with a series of drills for me to perform. They have helped me to improve and feel more and more comfortable with my swing.

I have had the opportunity to work with Tony Consolino for the past 5 years. We were connected the winter of my junior year of college at NWU during which time I was looking for a swing coach. Tony ended up being much more than just a swing coach.
My first experience with Tony was a 4-day trip to Orlando where we spent time working on making swing changes that I needed to make in order to compete at the next level after college. Tony not only made these changes easy to understand, but explained them so that I not only understood how, but why they worked. Once I had gone back to college Tony kept in close contact with me and became much more than a swing coach. We would regularly talk after tournaments, go over drills and techniques, and look at videos. Even though we were in different parts of the country, I could always count on Tony to be there for me. We started getting together for a few days at a time throughout each year and I saw steady improvement. What really impressed me was the diversity of Tony’s expertise beyond just the swing. Tony helped me equally with the mental side of my golf game as the physical side. We had many conversations about handling pressure and learning to handle shooting very low scores. One of my favorite things about working with Tony on the mental side of things was that he always had a drill, game, or process to help me break through to the next level.
As I progressed to the next level of professional golf Tony continued to grow with me. Even though I am based out of California Tony and I continued to work closely via technology. I attribute this to his ability to simplify the golf swing and make changes easy to understand for all levels of players. As an instructor I was able to watch how Tony not only added value to a player of my calibers game, but to beginners as well. Watching his techniques and hearing about how he teaches his beginner and intermediate students was eye opening. He has the ability to deliver effective results with simple changes.
While working with Tony I accomplished many of my goals in college. After working with Tony for about a year I set the school records for career wins, low tournament score, national ranking, and wins in a season as well as a few others. I was able to achieve the ranking of 5th in the nation for NCAA DIII my senior year as well as become an All-American. Upon turning professional I have played on many different tours and have been honored to have Tony by my side every step of the way. I recently qualified for the final stage of the U.S. Open qualifying and Tony accompanied me on that trip. Having him there was an incredible experience. What I learned from him on that trip was a career changing experience. I now look forward to preparing for Q School this year and having him there with me as well. I can honestly say I don’t think I would be where I am today in my professional career had it not been for Tony’s interest and investment of time into my life and golf career. He has become more than just an instructor; Tony is my biggest mentor and a close friend.
Tony is an exceptional teacher and I look forward to continuing to work with him for the rest of my career. I would highly recommend him as an instructor, mentor, and golf coach.

I have had the opportunity to work alongside countless Golf Professionals over the years both in the US and abroad. Tony is one of the most caring, committed, and compassionate Instructors and a true "total game improvement Coach"; that I have ever met. No matter what your age - if you are serious about improving your game - Tony can and will help you take your game to the next level. Tony's knowledge about all aspects of golf are only exceeded by his heartfelt and sincere desire to help all of his clients and associates achieve their goals. If you are lucky enough to work for or with him - do it! Patti McGowan
