FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Personal Chefs price their services based on their service location, type of meal preparation, food prices, etc. For that reason it's necessary for a personal chef to conduct a food preferences interview using a standard questionnaire to provide an accurate pricing quote. I provide my clients with pricing examples as follows. But the actual pricing will vary with their very specific needs: Pricing Examples* -Single Person: $200 + Groceries (5 entrees for 1 person including sides) -Two People: $300 + Groceries (5 entrees X 2 people including sides) -Three People $350 + Groceries (5 entrees X 3 people including sides) -Family of 4: $375 + Groceries (5 entrees X 4 people including sides) -Family of 5: $400 + Groceries (5 entrees X 4 people including sides) -1 Dessert (whole pies, cakes, etc.) $25/each + cost of ingredients *Prices do not include sales tax, pantry fee $5 to $15, travel beyond 10 miles 0.65 cents per mile, special diet research $50. ---10% Independent Seniors Discount (age 62 yrs and up) requires a 3 month commitment---
