- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do a majority of custom painting. Which cost a little bit more than just painting a wall. But even the custom paint jobs are priced fair. My pricing is around the going rate that any other painter in the area will charge, maybe a little less even.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my training has been on the job training. The things I do beyond painting are things that I needed done in order for me to paint the walls. Which meant I would have to wait for someone to come and fix whatever it was before I could continue so I figured out how to take care of the problem myself instead of waiting on someone.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I stumbled across painting houses by accident. My late husband showed me one time how to cut white trim onto a black wall after finding that I had made a huge mess by myself and was trying to fix it but only kept making it worse. After he showed me I caught on quick because I am super crafty and a perfectionist as well.
