Lorey is simply amazing! Her knowledge of Yoga is second to none. One only needs to have attended Yoga with another teacher before working with Lorey to see just how much more wonderful Lorey is. What attracted me to Lorey is her understanding of so many different skill levels. This allows her to teach one poses that will benefit the individual. If this is your first experience with Yoga I would strongly recommend Lorey. If, however, you have been taught by other Yoga instructors I would recommend you experience the best with Lorey.

As a lifelong cynic, smoker and hater of all things athletic, I was less than enthusiastic to join a gym or begin an exercise program at 50+ ..until a guilty conscience and rave reviews from my friends led me to Emily... Her extensive background, knowledge of physiology and experience working with people of all ages, ability levels and limitations along with her warmth and sparkling personality gives her the edge. Whether in a group class or individual training, Emily does her homework and customizes every session to the needs of each participant.. She is able to motivate and challenge us to push our limits while being sensitive to our specific areas of weakness so that we do not become discouraged. She is flexible and creative, constantly changing the routines, combining yoga, Pilates and free weights into each session, incorporating cardio and strength training to maximize results. In just a few weeks, I've seen and felt dramatic improvements in my muscle tone, energy level, balance, endurance and self confidence.. and, most dramatically, my fear of strenuous physical activity:) Emily rocks!
Amanda was a great instructor! I'm very new to yoga and I loved how she walks you through each pose and makes everything easy to understand! No matter your skill level, i definitely recommend taking her classes!
Melissa brings the true light of yoga to the mat through her teaching style and yogic philosophy's. She's hands down one of the best Yoga Teachers I've found this side of the Mississippi. As a beginner and new to practicing yoga; Peter made feel extremely comfortable. The pace was not too fast and he was patient in making sure I understood all the moves before continuing on to something more complex. I left my first session feeling empowered to push my mind and body further the next time. Whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned professional; Peter has the ability to bridge both and meet the client where they are in their journey. Highly recommend!
It is my first time taking private Yoga classes. Alexis is an excellent, kind and patient teacher. Classes are more than just physical exercise but a complete 'feel good' session. I am on my week two and noted changes right away. I am so pleased with her that I am doing 2 (and later on 3) times a week. Absolutely recommend her for any level.
I love it when Rebecca teaches class at my studio. Her style encompasses the perfect amount of encouragement to push yourself, as well as gentle reminders to rest when needed. Her clear voice is strong and steady, it keeps my mind from drifting and yet I don't feel like I'm being yelled at in a boot camp. During class, Rebecca has explained the postures in ways that have made them "click" for me, I feel like when I do what she says, even if I am still far from being advanced in the posture, at least I'm aiming in the right direction. Wonderful instructor on many levels!
Elizabeth is an outstanding yoga instructor and personal trainer. She challenges you, and always changes things up! In her yoga classes, we focused on strength training, meditation and flexibility - All in one! I lost a lot of weight through yoga and personal training, and she taught me things that allow me to keep up the fitness on my own after our training had ended! Her goal setting guide (that she gives personal training clients) seriously changed the way I view health and fitness. Also, I highly suggest paying for her custom meal plans. Mine was super easy to follow because it was customized to MY specific food needs and likes. This made a huge difference in my weight loss results and I'm still maintaining it now.

Yoga one-on-one with Laure was incredible. Her soothing voice guided me through a challenging variety of poses focused on creating strength and balance. Most helpful was her undivided attention to my movements. At times she was able to make small adjustments which made big differences in my practice. I highly recommend Laure for both individual yoga sessions or small group sessions. She is in tune with the way the human body moves while being a warm and friendly person to spend time with.
Practicing yoga under Laurel's guidance really helps alleviate my neck and back pain. My posture seems to get a little better after each session. I always leaving feeling refreshed and revitalized. She is a polite and engaging instructor and I would recommend her services to anyone interested in learning some valuable stretches.
Ive been taking private yoga lessons with Leslie for a couple of years and no matter what kind of mood I arrive in, I always leave feeling happy and peaceful. And my body thanks me for days afterwards for having more energy, strength, balance, and flexibility! Leslie is both professional and personable and I could not recommend her any higher. She asks what I want to focus on (eg. tight shoulders, hips, and hamstrings) at the beginning of each session and works it into the session seamlessly, always careful to work around my wrist injury. She magically fits everything perfectly into an hour. And in terms of the yoga moves, its always just the right balance of the known and the unknown. And if I really want to fight the ab flab, shes game for throwing in extra core exercises from pilates or ballet. The studio itself is a wonderful place! Gentle music, incense, and her assuring, low voice fill the large, light-filled room in a quaint, historic East Nashville home. The high ceiling, the hardwood floor, and the old fireplace create both an open, spaciousness and a charming warmth. Although I was fairly new to yoga when I started with Leslie, I never felt judged. She continues to meet me where Im at, pushing harder when Im feeling strong and energetic, pulling back when Im feeling tired. And at the end of each savasana, she rubs an essential oil such as sandalwood along the forehead and into the temples. Ahhh sweet bliss! Always the perfect ending to an hour of satisfying self care with a caring teacher.
