Kristen designed the front and back cover of my poetry book. I gave her the photo I wanted to use and she took it from there, offering several options with various color schemes and font choices. I am thrilled with the design I chose. Kristen was timely, communicative, and professional throughout the process. A joy to work with!

A friend referred me to Heather to do a sketch of my English Mastiff as a way to preserve his memory. Heather sketched him from a photo and the result was phenomenal! She captured him perfectly. I recommend her work to friends regularly.

I am a storyteller and I taught a class, "The Art of Storytelling," at Memphis College of Art. Robby Mcelhaney was a student in my class. His self discipline and dependability as a student and as an artist were outstanding. Robby gets his work don on time and he takes a great deal of pride in doing his work well. He has a delightful imagination, professional integrity, great wit, true talent and charm. All of that is evident in his illustrations. So when I needed someone to illustrate a children's storybook, I contacted Robby and invited him to work with me. Robby created the 10 illustrations we needed for "Maggie Scott's Head Got Stuck." He checked with me regularly, making sure his work was what I had hoped to receive. Working with Robby is fun; there is an element of play in our connection and this project. He completed the set of illustrations just prior to our agreed- upon deadline. We began working on the project in November and the ten illustrations were completed by the end of February. His illustrations are perfect, going hand in hand with the story I want to share. I am grateful for Robby's work and look forward to working with him again in the future.

I have contracted Cat York for several projects over the past two year, including the custom design for the header on my website at www.mindeearnett.com as well as several promotional items for my books. Not only is her work exquisite, but she was incredibly easy to work with. She answered inquiries immediately and was enthusiastic about the projects. She met all deadlines ahead of schedule and I know her work contributed to my marketing success. She receives my full recommendation.

John is that rare combination of traits that you hope to find in every illustrator: great talent, ability to catch your vision, ability to interpret your ideas and make them better, attention to detail, and deadline conscious. I strongly recommend John Haney for your next project!

I am an accomplished graphic designer and illustrator, bringing 30 years of design experience to the table. Nashville, TN has been my home since 1982, when my career started with a small graphic design firm, Whitfield Art Agency. As a graphic artist, I was responsible for designing print material for a wide range of clients including Johnston & Murphy, Mephisto, Samsonite, Favorite Recipes Press, Opry Mills, Green Hills Mall, and many more. I joined Eagle Dry Goods in 2008 as an art director where my major responsibilities include handling of all print material, creating logos and illustrations for their graphic tees and sweatshirts, designing labels and hang tags for lines of apparel, managing their websites, retouching all the apparel images for catalogs and website and creating embroidery for customers' branded apparel. In 2013, I started my own graphic design business, so I could work at home. I design logos, CD packages, create eblasts and print materials for a variety of clients.
