- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, professional development in education. Assisting teachers and administration with new programs, technology, and tutoring children with various needs, challenges, and learning differences. Experience with Autism Spectrum and learning challenges. It might be a processing issue, comprehension, spelling, reading, math, and/or learning disability or mental challenge. Also, behavior concerns and using positive discipline and lots of encouragement and little "rewards."( stickers, 2- 3 m&m's, skittles, or smarties or extra recess or read a special book, play with a special toy, eat with the teacher, invite a friend to eat or play, etc.)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Childcare / Etc. I am able to do this part-time and during breaks and summertime break from school. It is a good fit for my experience and how I want to spend the time doing something that I like and I am good at. Plus I want to supplement my income while helping out families who need various services whether it is childcare, homework help & tutoring, teaching swimming lessons, meal preparation or pet care, dog-sitting, house-sitting and babysitting, too., Please Contact me. I often enjoy the dog and getting to know the family and can then be available when there is a time for a pet sitter.especially in an emergency.
