- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What you see on my profile in terms of pricing is a starting point. However, I am and can be flexible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach to the goals of the individual. I base my approach on the person and their unique goals and needs. As far as I am concerned, we are partners in learning! So, in the beginning, I want to listen to the goals of the person I am teaching and relax the process and make it as positive and encouraging as I can!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started taking Piano and Voice lessons at the age of 8. I continued the Piano lessons with the same teacher until I was 22. In the meantime, as I was learning classical music from my teacher, I was falling in love with Rock & Roll, Jazz, Soul Music, Pop and Country as well as about every other kind of music. I have played in night clubs, I've done thousands of recording sessions, I toured for 3 years with The Marshall Tucker Band and recorded 3 records with them and I've done every kind of musical activity you can think of; Recitals, Weddings, Funerals, Piano Bar Engagements and all sorts of live indoor and outdoor shows. I am a singer and writer as well so I feel my experience gives me the ability to teach music from all angles and for all people. I have been actively teaching now for about 8 years. I have always taught but I am more focused now on instruction than ever!
