Tralena provided lessons for both my son and me. She was always kind (I needed that!) and patient with us. Not only is Tralena an excellent teacher, she is an incredible performer and vocalist herself. That makes her a wondeful role model.

Mrs. Tralena was my teacher for 14 years. She is fantastic with younger kids and is great at bringing the intensity up with age. She takes her job very seriously. She also takes the time to get to know all of her students. They are like her own kids to her. If you or your child are looking into piano or vocal lessons I would highly recommend.

My 3 boys have taken piano and voice lessons since August 2021 with Mrs. Tralena Walker. I knew from the moment I met her that she would be the person I would want guiding and teaching our sons in both classical piano and voice lessons from now until they go to college. She is not only classically trained herself, but also has an abundance of experience working in the music industry with an impressive career. Her entire life has been dedicated to music and it’s very apparent she is an expert at her craft and uses her talents to work with children. She caters to each child individually and I’ve seen first hand how she gets to know her students and cares for them as if they were her own. We full heartedly consider her a part of our family. She has guided my children through numerous recitals, school plays and also district and state competitions. To say she goes above and beyond would be an understatement. She explains everything so that both parent and child understand the theory behind learning how to play piano and sing. She is a first class professional and if you are serious about pursuing music for your child you will not find anyone better than her. She has instilled a love of music for my boys that they will have their entire lives and a skill set that will take them very far in their pursuits.

Tralena taught our daughter both piano and voice starting at a very young age and through her high school years. Additionally she accompanied her on piano during her violin recitals. Tralena was always helpful to prepare our daughter for auditions and was always supportive and encouraging. Tralena loves teaching as evidenced by her passion for music and teaching.
