f you ever end up working with StookU, pray you get Sam as your team leader because this guy is on another level. He didn’t just set up my account and disappear — he actually took the time to understand what I wanted, what kind of teacher I’d vibe with, and what would keep me motivated. Thanks to him, I got matched with Allan Guzman, who turned out to be the perfect guitar teacher for me. What I really appreciate is that Sam doesn’t just check a box and move on. Every week he reaches out to see how things are going — not in a corporate, scripted way, but like someone who genuinely wants to make sure I’m happy with my progress and enjoying the lessons. It feels like having a personal coach in the background making sure everything stays on track. Honestly, Sam makes the whole StookU experience feel way more personal and supportive. Couldn’t ask for a better person to be in charge of my account.

I started in February 2026 with Joseph, he learned what I was looking for in a guitarlesson and we have adjusted from the basics of guitar music, cords and scales to taking on songs. Every lesson it is pointed out why the theory is developed and why it is the songs that we listen as we grew up as kids. Joseph is an exceptional teacher if you want to learn to play all those early blues, country and classical rock from the 70s. The instruction is an open friendly experience and recommend If you are wanting to take on learning the guitar, singing, bass or drums! The rating on this app is only a 5 but I would give my instructor and the team a 100!

Just had my very first guitarlesson. we went over goals, inspirations, songs/style that we want to learn. And even though I was unsure about what style I want to learn they did go over some of them and said they would discuss more in following lessons and cover a wide variety. As far as the first lesson the mentor (Allan G) was a very chill and cool guy who made it feel relaxed and informative, I’m looking forward to learning more!

I have been taking lessons with StookU for the past year. i started off with guitarlessons and branched off into singing lessons. It has been so much fun! My teachers are very knowledgeable, professional and encouraging. It is so convenient to do from home and the price is very reasonable, especially if you do group lessons.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
60min: $50
I have a variable pricing structure based off of what you’re willing to commit to. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly payments are available and are all setup to make your experience as seamless as possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to have an open conversation about what your goals and needs are. I'll discuss how I like to approach our lessons based on your current skill level and adjust regularly to ensure we're always on the right track. I'm a firm believer in communication, so I often ask for feedback and opinions of how I'm doing and how your progress is coming along.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've played music my whole life, more or less. I played in an orchestra for many years and learned music theory/composition. I began to play guitar over 10 years ago and have put in thousands of practice hours, earning my experience in technique and theory.
