I felt like it took way too long. It should have been no more than 4 hours, however, it took 6 hrs. Workers (not Dan) stood around and I had to ask them to help. They quoted $140/hr for 4 men. Only 3 came. Did not leave an itemized statement so I don't know if we received any adjustment for less workers than quoted. I think they are just getting started in business as they rented a U-Haul. Also found a pretty big ding in my drywall. They were the only company that responded on my Thumbtack inquiry and I could not locate another local moving company is the reason I selected.

Dear customer, I did explain to you when we arrived that one of my movers was out because of a non-work related injury and that you would be charged the three-man adjusted rate of $120 an hour. You were charged for 4 hours and 45 minutes at that rate. I will be happy to email you or hand-deliver an itemized receipt. You were only charged for the load, unload and travel time. I have addressed the "standing around" problem with my employees and they assured me it will not happen again. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Also I was not aware of any damages done to the drywall and I am glad to come out and repair it at your earliest convenience. I enjoyed meeting you and your family and apologize for any discomfort or unsettled feelings you may have had with the move. Please call or text regarding the drywall and I will get back to you ASAP.
