I've been working out 3 times a week with a personal trainer (Brooke - she's awesome) at Exclusive Fitness for about 5 weeks now. All the staff at the gym is professional and knowledgable and will go out of their way to help you. I'm not in the greatest shape, but I don't feel uncomfortable in this gym - there are people of all shapes and sizes with the common of interest of being healthier. Brooke is a great personal trainer - I'm definitely considerably stronger than I was 5 weeks ago and I'm starting to notice some positive changes in my body. She's positive and encouraging and pushes me to try my hardest. My first thought after researching Exclusive Fitness (using Thumbtack and Google) was that the owner must have had his cronies bombard the Internet with positive reviews in exchange for a kickback on membership fees. After training with Wade for the last three months, I have to admit that I was completely wrong. I moved to the Knoxville area around three months ago and walked into Exclusive Fitness as a perfect stranger. Wade was the first person I met, as he makes a point to welcome each new face personally. Since then, Wade has helped me shape my goal, matched my commitment, and provided me with a wealth of knowledge backed by years of experience. Wade has made time for me after working a fourteen-hour day, opened up the gym early for me on weekends, and even trained with me on St. Patricks Day and Easter Sunday. As far as results are concerned, I have had better results in the last three months than nearly a decade of military PT and P90X. I have gained ten pounds of muscle and lowered my body fat by two percent. I had two blood tests in the last three months that showed lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, healthy level of liver enzyme production, and no illegal drug use. As an introvert, the most important aspect of Exclusive Fitness for me was the atmosphere. I had never had a gym membership or used a personal trainer previously, so I half expected Wade to be the stereotypical, condescending trainer in a way-too-tight-T-shirt. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We have them talk with our Fitness Director to see what their needs, wants and goals are & to see whether they prefer a female or male trainer. Once that is learned we map out their journey for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Always are continuing CEU's. Knowledge is POWER!
