Sorry for the lengthy review, but I try to be as thorough as possible with my experience. Had my roof replaced by Innovative Roofing & Siding. Great company to work with. Bob Jones came out to give me an estimate for roof repairs as I was seeing signs of water leaks on my master bath ceiling. He showed up on time, as promised, and examined the roof. After the examination he explained to me several options for repairs and full replacement based on the age and condition of the roof. I ended up deciding to go with the full replacement as it made more since long term. Since I wasn't financially prepared to replace the roof right away, Bob was more than willing to work with me to schedule the roof replacement job when I was ready. A few months later (color choice took a minute or two for the wife and I) we decided to pull the tigger and start the job. Once again, they were on time as promised and literally started right at 8am. As expected I knew they'd run into a few issues as they got down to the sheathing. Each issue was discussed with me to ensure we were all on the same page. One area they found was around my chimney chase. They showed me how they planned to fix it to ensure water leaks would no longer be an issue. Even showed me the repairs before closing everything up to be sure I was happy with it. Crew was awesome, super nice, and finished the job in one day. If it wasn't for their sign in the front yard and the look of the new roof you'd never know they were here. Cleaned up the yard, driveway, and back porch before leaving. I've only found one nail in the yard since the job was completed. Roof looks great, couldn't be more pleased with the results. Even the chimney cleaning guy complemented on how straight and clean the roof was a couple weeks later. In short, if you need roof work or siding work done these are the guys/gals to call in Knoxville.

We had, what we thought was a leak in the roof, which Innovative installed a couple of years ago. They were really responsive and Oscar and a couple of other people came out. They inspected the roof and didn't find any problems. They continued looking around as to what caused the leak and, while they couldn't confirm it, believed it to be some cracks in/around the chimney. While this had NOTHING to do with their roofing, they took time to climb up a ladder and apply caulk to the most obvious cracks. They could have, as other contractors have done, and said, "not our roof, not our problem." But they cared enough about a customer to go above and beyond. Kudos to Oscar and the others.

I have been having trouble with my roof for a long time and had several contractors look at the issue...its a problem roof with several slopes ending in a dead valley between two rooms. There was a leak between the rooms. I had been told everything from build a new roof to cut a seam between the rooms...none seemed practical. I decided to try again and went to Angies List, checked the reviews and began calling. I received a call back from Jordan with Innovative Roofing and Siding that day. Jordan came to my house, spend a lot of time on the roof and designed a simple, practical solution to my headache. Within the week, the roofing crew arrived. When we checked their progress about mid morning, they had removed much more roof than I expected. I immediately thought this was going to be one of those tear up more, fix it and charge more than quoted deals. Was I ever wrong! In the process of tearing out the problem area, they discovered the source of the leak...a hole in my roof located far above my leak. Jordan and I went on the roof. They had found soft, wet plywood in several places and a good size hole. He explained both the problem and how they would fix it. Not only did they discover a hole, but after fixing the soft wood and the hole, they checked the slope and discovered the roof was slanted incorrectly at one area and was pooling water instead of draining. With genius engineering, Oscar, Innovatives roofing expert, changed the slope slightly to allow good drainage. The work was supposed to take a day...it took 2 days. The crew was very professional. They left the site cleaner than before they came and no roofing nails. Youd think with the extra problems and the additional day, my final bill would be twice the price quoted. It was as quoted no more. Jordan said Innovative makes the job right and he was correct. If you are looking for an honest, straightforward, and practical roofing company, these guys are your folks. They are roofing craftsman.PS. It rained hard for several days after the job...all is dry between the rooms and problems of drainage that I have dealt with for years are gone.
