Yes, it is a must!!!! Technology is ever changing!! I already have an extensive knowledge of Photoshop and graphic design programs, but enjoy the challenge of being creative with a computer and not just my hands. Always room for improvement. Knowledge is power!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fought it at first and thought I just wanted to be a makeup artist all my life. A few shoots and word spread like wildfire. They wouldn't stop coming and I had to get prepared and work hard, learn and incorporate all I knew and experienced prior to become good at it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people in my industry say "You need to capitalize on your Market". Choose your favorite subject to shoot and put all your energy into that. I say pishposh!! ;) Diversity is key. Today's market you need to diversify to fulfill your income and your clients budget! Being new (3 yrs )to Nashville and trying to build up my clientele here has been a challenge. I have the experience and credentials but still priority seems to be, who do you know here? I know God and he gives me all I need! I love Nashville and would like to raise my family here.
