FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is inspired by industry standard pricing, however that does not mean there are always specific amounts for particular services. That is why I always recommend a free consultation before performing any services. Sometimes we are able to fix issues in less time than expected, which we will charge less for. Sometimes issues are much deeper than previously expected and this issues will take much longer than normal, in which case we charge more. The primary purpose of the consultation is to put everything in front of the customer first so they understand the issue, explain everything that must be done to fix the issue in terms they can understand comfortably, and be sure they have a confident and complete understanding of the situation before asking them to pay anything or performing any services. We do not want to put people in a corner or pressure them. We are here to help people, not sell them anything. We always give them the option to change their mind or consider their options or back out before we perform any service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with their request, reading every detail and based off of the information provided we propose a path to resolution and explain it as simply and clearly as possible. If they wish to hire us, we schedule an appointment for service. The morning of, we call to confirm the appointment and give them opportunity to reschedule if needed, we prepare and bring all of the tools and resources necessary for the service, then we head out and get the issue taken care of. Once the service is complete, we go over the postmortem details, provide an invoice and detailed summary, answer any questions, collect payment, send a receipt and offer to help with any questions or issues.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Found computers fascinating from a young age, never really stopped enjoying working on them. The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. Passion really got the better of me and has kept me learning and working with technology ever since.
