Well, a young man named Austin came out. I spent time showing him what I needed done and he looked at everything thoroughly. He was here about 30 minutes or so. He told me it may be a week or two before they could do the job and that it would be him and one or two more men. I said that would be fine. He stated he would email or message me a quote for the work in a day or so. That’s been close to two weeks now. I’ve messaged him about three times since then with no response. The first time was just asking about the quote. The other messages were asking him if he wanted the job or not and if not it was fine but just tell me. I did have others that wanted to come look at the job but I had told them I already found someone because I thought Decker’s were going to do the job. Anyway, this was a complete waste of time and very aggravating. Why even come look at the job and why not just tell me you don’t want the job or if you’re not capable of doing the job just tell me. But instead he said they could do it and would send me a quote. He left and it’s been complete silence. Not a good way to do business. Not a good way to get more jobs either. Just be honest and upfront and you’ll go allot further. My advice is to steer clear of Deckers. This says allot about the way they conduct themselves. I waited a week between the messages I sent them to give them plenty of time to respond but nothing. I hate leaving bad reviews but maybe this will help somebody else.
