FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Pressure wash, re-caulk and repair rotten wood. Then re-paint exterior of home. I am a very good carpenter so i do alot of wood replacement. Also, re-paint interior walls, ceilings and trim.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Two story yellow house with siding top to bottom all four sides. Was in extremely bad condition. Spent days re-placing siding and trim. Numerous hours scraping bad silicone bath caulk incorrectly used on the outside of house. Homeowners were extremely happy. Received lengthy review on Angie's List praising the work performed and was given a rather nice bonus.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go on your instincts. Never choose the most expensive nor the cheapest. Honestly, you get what you pay for. Never pay someone up front. Read reviews and check references. You would not believe how many people i have worked for that when I found rotten wood they told me "quick-cover that back up before the homeowner sees it". Sorry, not me! I refuse to do it. I tell them "show the homeowner, if they want me to cover it back up, I will". Needless to say, I've lost some work because of this.
