I work in IT so this might come from a complete novice perspective when it comes to fitness so bear with me. My girlfriend and I decided to jump on the bandwagon and get fit for the summer. I was looking to ideally lose about 30 lbs and be somewhat presentable at the beach. It wasn't really getting the results that I wanted because the scale wasn't changing much. My girlfriend on the other hand met her goals and actually surpassed them in my eyes. I went through the workout honeymoon phase quite quickly (after a couple of weeks, I was bored and not impressed). I then thought of working out with a good friend of mine since my girl had her workout partner. Doing yoga and getting in downward facing dog for me was not quite my cup of tea..hey, call it machismo or whatever. It just wasn't me. I came across the site and from there everything has been downhill from there. I am still not at my ideal weight (190) but now aware of the factors for measuring ideal health like body mass index,O2 saturation and the importance of body fat calibrations. It's s been about 45 days and the education and training that I've gotten from the guys at parallel plus works for me. What really kept me on as long as I have been is the variety and education they use to make it interesting and getting you engaged....something that I simply couldn't do on my own. I mean that dumb bells in garage could only take me so far for what I knew.

I went to my family reunion in September and realized that I was severely out of shape and that it was time for a change. Now I've tried to work out numerous times before and I was never able to achieve my goals. One day, while I was online I came across this site called parallel plus and I decided to give it a try. I figured that it would be worth a shot since from my previous experience from working out ended with me giving up or injuring myself. I will be the first to say that it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. From the education to the training and motivation that I've received it is exactly what I needed! In the past two months I have lost up to 10 lbs and 4 inches from my waist!!! Now I won't say that it was easy to do, but will say that it was definitely worth it! I'm so grateful to this company for what they have been able to help me acomplish!
