Very disappointing experience with Parker Construction Company. They were unreliable, extremely unresponsive, and wasted a lot of my time.
On Monday, August 17, they asked when they could come look at my project. I offered 3:00 PM. Later that evening, I was told they had been out sick with food poisoning. They suggested that we regroup the next morning and set up a good time.
On Tuesday, August 18, I had to follow up and ask when they planned to look at my project. They asked if Thursday would work, and I confirmed that Thursday after 3:00 PM worked for me.
On Thursday, August 20, I waited for them and even canceled other appointments because I expected them to come. No one showed up, and no one contacted me to say they weren’t coming. At 5:18 PM, I had to message them myself asking, “Are you coming today?” I received no response that evening.
The next morning, Friday, August 21, they finally responded by asking, “Did one of the guys not show up?” I told them no one had come and asked whether they could come Friday or Saturday. They immediately asked, “What time today?” I replied “After 3”. After that, there was no confirmation, no update, and no further response.
On Saturday, August 22, I followed up yet again and still received no response.
I understand that schedules change and unexpected things happen. What I find unacceptable is repeatedly making arrangements with a potential customer, failing to show up, and then leaving the customer to keep chasing you for answers. I rearranged my own schedule and canceled appointments because I relied on the time we had agreed upon.
Based on my experience, the communication and reliability were extremely poor. I would not recommend Parker Construction Company.
