Jen was easily one of the best and most professional graphic designers I have worked with in 13 years of business. She asked appropriate questions before commencing her work. She took our vague ideas and made them into several clean, cool t-shirt designs from which we could choose in a very efficient and timely manner. We will definitely be contacting her again for our future design needs.

I worked with Glendo several years ago as part of a company that produced various types of T-shirt designs, as well as other marketing materials – primarily for universities, but also for businesses. Glendo never failed to come up with something better than I had envisioned for the concept. He has the skills to deliver the style appropriate for the message, and is flexible in producing options that dialed in on the most effective one. Another aspect I appreciated is that he is not just a talented artist, but he has the capacity to create with the end product in mind, which always produced a consistent result. There were times I was struggling to come up with an idea, and he always delivered in such a way that rescued me - and over delivered for our clients! I've included one example below from a T-shirt design, and I'm sure he can provide many different types of examples based on your needs. In short, I can't recommend Glendo enough, and I know you won't be disappointed in the experience of working with him. Highly recommended!

I am always thinking about the next project to take on with Luther, whether it involves music, design, video, audio.. this guy is incredibly talented. He has a heart to always learn his craft and listens well to his clients and colleagues. He has a gift for songwriting.. and the resources to make something happen! From Oceanway studio sessions to booking full Gospel choirs, I'm at a loss for how he gets it done. But he does, and he does it with well exceeded expectations. If you have the privilege of working with Luther, you won't regret it!

I contacted Music City Digitee about making some shirts for my family reunion. They came up with an awesome design, had the shirts done before the deadline, and the prints looked awesome! I had called another couple places also to make sure I want getting a good deal, and they were absolutely priced less than the competitors. I would 100% recommend

Our family first worked with Robby this past summer on a project very close to our hearts. Robby helped us bring to life a set of rules that our son created in a speech therapy session last spring. These rules have become the foundation for our day to day life. Robby understood the importance that these words held within our hearts and it showed with every design he created. Not only did Robby create a t-shirt design with B's rules but he also helped us create our logo for "Sawyer Says". He helped us incorporate one of B's favorite things (trains) into the design and the final result is absolutely perfect!! Robby was always easy to communicate with and consistently gave us amazing designs to work with through out the design process. Robby went above and beyond to make sure that the final design was exactly as we wanted. We can't wait to work with him again!

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What makes a good logo design?

A good logo is an easily identifiable, memorable image that represents your brand. A good logo design aligns with your business model and expresses your company’s core values. A good logo design is simple, appealing, and easy for customers and viewers to quickly process. Some of the key components of a great logo are type, color palette and design. The scale, font and arrangement of the text you select will all make a difference in the feel and representation of your brand. A graphic designer will help you home in on the colors that best represent your identity and help you keep the color palette simple. The design of your logo includes the shapes you select and the way the color and type are arranged together. Investing in the services of a professional to create your logo design is likely a smart investment for any size business. Nationally, the average price range for a logo designer ranges from $170 to $250.

How much does it cost to create a logo?

Logo design is an important part of your company’s brand development. More than an image with text and color, a logo communicates the tone and personality of your company to your potential customers. Hiring a graphic designer with an appealing portfolio and quality reviews is a solid start to creating a winning logo design. The cost to create a logo can depend on how in-depth the marketing and design services you request are. Designers can create one logo in multiple formats (horizontal, vertical, etc.) to fit both your website and social media platforms, they can create a variety of designs for clients to select from, or they can create multiple logos for one client who needs branding for more than one venture. Logos may be text-only, text and image, or image-only. Many designers and design firms charge by the hour for their services, while other companies offer packages bundled with design services. Here are some examples of cost:

  • National average cost to hire a logo designer: $170-$250.
  • Average hourly rate for a freelance marketing consultant: about $150.
  • Tiered pricing for logo design packages from one firm:
    • Package One: $200 for three logo concepts, three rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
    • Package Two: $350 for 10 logo concepts, unlimited rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
    • Package Three: $550 for everything included in the Package Two, plus business card design, letterhead design, social media graphics and an email signature.
    • Package Four: $850 for everything in the Package Three, plus custom brand guidelines, which outline a strategy for creating a consistent branding in the client’s business.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
