Anchored Artists was the DJ for my wedding in June and was absolutely phenomenal. I was very stressed towards the end of wedding planning, and he was very accommodating and understanding when I had a last-minute change of mind on song selections. He was energetic and personable throughout the whole set - my nieces and nephews loved that he was able to play all the songs they requested. He let me know before he wrapped up the set, so I was aware and could pick a few last songs. I highly recommend Jacob Merlin for any DJ needs in the area.

Jacob Merlin is an excellent DJ and an even better human. He’s based in Nashville and drove to us in Chattanooga, stepping in on short notice on New Year’s Eve for our wedding (already a strong sign we were dealing with the right person LOL). We live in California and were staying with family in Georgia while planning the wedding, which meant coordinating from a distance. Jacob was clear, responsive, and unflappable, making a potentially stressful situation feel surprisingly easy. On the day itself, his mixing was spot on. He read the room well, kept the energy moving without forcing it, and carried the mood effortlessly from start to finish. What really stood out was how much care he brought to the job and to all of our people. He went above and beyond, treated our wedding like it genuinely mattered, and by the end of the night felt less like a vendor and more like someone we’d happily recommend to friends over and over and over again!
