I was a little hesitant when I saw a negative review on the site, however Jason was very transparent and explained the situation. He mentioned that he was short on drivers for 2 days and only returned phone calls for people that left VMs. If you need to reach him just make sure to leave a message. That is the same way I operate when Im very busy. The day of my move Jason and Dustin showed up and went right to work. We ended up changing the route at the last minute and Jason was very appreciative for my flexibility. I was very impressed with the sense of urgency to wrap and load my items on the truck and I even ended up referring him to someone else while they were working in action. I was a little concerned when Jason mentioned that there insurance would not cover my large mirror at our 2nd pickup location as it was not in a frame. So just make sure to ask if you have any high end pieces so that everything is clear on the front end. Jason will be very straightforward with you and he made sure to wrap the mirror and secure it as gently as possible on the truck. Upon delivery all was well with my mirror and all my concern was brought to ease. There was one slight ding on another piece of furniture that left us both clueless. Jason was very empathetic and made things right to my satisfaction. Would definitely consider using Mr Mover again. Thanks!

I used Mr. Mover for a local move of the furniture, washer and dryer for my house, less than 10 miles, in the Antioch area. Jason was very pleasant on the phone for the scheduling and answered all my questions about certain pieces of furniture. Jason stated that I would receive a reminder call the day prior to the move, but that did not occur. I called him to confirm the move date and time the day before in late evening. Dustin was in charge of my move, and he was very pleasant and polite. However, he was the only full time employee, the other 2 movers were day workers and neither of them had any identifying clothing or badges. There were several issues during the loading of the furniture, and I spoke with Jason on the phone reagrding them. Issues were resolved. On delivery of the furniture, they found that a leg was broken on the dining table during the transport. Dustin removed the leg and said that it would be repaired and brought back and installed in four days. Jason never phoned me about the status of the dining table repair himself. I had to call him to get the status after a week, and it took 2 messages, and calling several numbers before I could reach him. Also, the washer and dryer were not padded during the move, and the washer was scratched in several places. I had to point out that the washer water lines were connected incorrectly to the hot and cold lines, and that the hose washers were not used. That issue was corrected before they left. The mattress for one bed is solid white, and they did not wrap it in plastic, so there is a huge grease stain on the end of the mattress from the truck floor. I pointed out to the movers that they should wrap everything - especially the ends of the mattresses that will sit on the truck floor. The movers were very good about placing the furniture where I wanted it, and made sure that the hardwood floors were not damaged / scratched. I would recommend that Jason and Dustin train their help to wrap all sides of all fabric items, alter the method of transporting dining and other tables, and wrap all applicances that are moved.

Started as a 4 but moved to a 5 - read on to see why Booked a truck and 3 movers from Mr Movers. Jason was great. Over the phone answered every question with patience and was eager to help. Wanted 8am and was told they would be there between 8 and 9. Arrived 9:15 - no big deal, honestly we were still packing and needed the xtra time. Arrived In a rental truck and not the one in the picture but the rental was a nice clean, shiny new rental truck so- Yay, very happy! They explained that it was the same size truck. One of the guys jumped out of the truck still smoking, saw me and still puffed a few more drags before putting it out - very big deal to a non smoking family :( The 3 movers (Jason was not one of them) - not a problem at all - he told me up front he doesnt do much of the moving himself anymore. The 3 movers were polite and very hard workers. They loaded all we had packed and said they were going to take a 30 min break for lunch on the way over to our new house less than 5 miles away -- OK everyone has to eat. When they arrived over 1 hr 15 later I was a bit puzzled by the long 5 mile trip but figured they wouldnt charge me for the time thinking they took a extra long lunch - wrong but I will get to that. They arrived at the new house and worked very hard while still being very polite until the job was done. They used pads at the entry way and over all open doors that they would be going through. Floor pads, wrapped the furniture. The charge- I had to leave before the truck was empty to head to home depot. My wife paid while I was gone and when I asked if they had taken off for the hr she said no because the driver took a back road (Hwy 70) on the way to our new house that has a 9 foot high tunnel to go through over near Newsoms Mill. He had to re-rout and took a while. Going from (Bellevue near the Red Caboose Park to McCrory Ln (I cant imagine why not just get on I 40 for 1 exit) I was charged an extra $55 because of the error the crew leader made in routing. A few rental items were left at our 1st house that the crew leader was going to pick them up after they dropped the rental truck off (no charge) - maybe he was trying to make up for the other charge. I am giving 5 stars even with the smoking at the beginning and the routing charge since no one was seen smoking again and they were extremely polite & worked very hard - I also discussed the extra routing time with Jason and he agreed that we should not have been charged. He offered to refund that portion. I like it when a company can take ownership of a mistake and happily make it right. Integrity goes a long way. I will recommend Nashville moving and storage and happily use them again Pros: Very Hard workers and extremely polite. Owner has the integrity to do the right thing Cons: Smoking and routing mistake - corrected after speaking with Jason Lesson: Discuss and agree on route before the driver leaves. Matt

The young men who moved me were intelligent, respectful and took great care with my furniture. I dreaded moving for I have worked with inept moving companies in the past. This was a GOOD experience. What a relief. Thank you Jason and tell your moving men I much I appreciated them.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Household and business packing and moving. We move office, house,apartment, condo, town homes and etc. We can deliver box orders if the customer prefers to pack their own boxes. We offer loading and unloading of rental trucks, we do moves to and from storage. We also load and unload pods and Mobile Attics.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't go with the "cheapest" quote or hourly rate you can find. This will usually end up costing you more $ in the end. Many companies will lure you in with a lower hourly rate. Once you've hired them, they"ll send out smaller trucks, little or no furniture pads and slow, stagnant movers who take their time in order to make your move take longer than necessary. At Mr. Mover, our goal is to complete your move as quickly and safely as possible while still protecting your home and furniture with furniture pads, floor protection, entry door protection and stair rail protection. All at NO additional cost to you!
